About my mums a hippie:
British-Colombian illustrator and artist Monique Jivram, aka My Mums a Hippie, draws inspiration from her Latin ancestry and is fascinated by colour and shape.

She dedicates most of her time to working on a mix of embroidery, drawing and painting. She creates hundreds of punchy illustrations as a starting point then uses her trusty computer and sewing machine to refine each piece. My Mums a Hippie's drawings are a mix of thick black heavy lines, vibrant inks and hand and machine embroidery.

My Mums a Hippie was born and currently lives in London. Her mum continues to be a hippie.
